The latest Sony PlayStation 5 has been the frenzy for quite sometime now, and if you are a gamer or someone who plays from time to time, you would understand why this is the most trending topic. The PS5 Disc - disc-equipped console, will gladly "gobble up" your PS5-compatible physical CD copies. The optical drive is also a Blu-ray player that supports 4K video. The PS5 disc console widens the scope of home entertainment that you can enjoy with family and friends, including DVDs and Blu-ray discs.

One of the most important thing to note on this edition is - the console is capable of running a PS4 Dics. Yes you heard right. So you can go dust those your old PS4 discs you love so much, no need to buy new ones as the new PS5 Disc Edition will gladly gobble it up for you and even run it better than your old PS4 consule. 2. Physical Design

The obvious physical difference between these two console editions is basically the symmetry. The PS5 Disc Edition comes with a visible off-putting side bulge and specious optical-drive slot which most gamers has joked that is about to give birth..lol!. While the Digital Edition is more symmetrically sleeker hence the absence of CD-ROM. The curved or should I say the white shell that drapes the black core modernizes the console design.

With that said, I think is safe to say the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is arguably more visually appealing than its disc-equipped counterpart. So if you are particular about the sleekness of your gadgets, PS5 Digital Edition is the best for you.

Last but not the least is price. I have gotten too many question as to “How much does the PS5 Disc Edition cost compared to its sibling, PS5 Digital Edition. The PlayStation 5 Disc Edition costs 2380.00 AED while the PS5 Digital Edition cost 2200.00 AED. The PS5 Disc version is 180.00 AED more than the Digital Edition as at the time of writing this post, though price may vary depending on when you are reading this.

Right up to this point, you should already know which you should buy. But if you are still indecisive, lets give you a few bullets points or nudges.

• If you are on budget, the PS5 Digital Edition should be a wiser choice for you, and to aid that, it's worth noting that the PS5 Digital is essentially the same as the PS5 Standard; it simply lacks a disc drive.
• If you don't have stable internet for download, then the PS5 Standard Edition is what you should go for. You can play the discs you have already and can simply borrow from a friend and run the fame!

Technical Specification of PS5 Standard & PS5 Digital Edition

In my opinion, I would totally advise you to get the PS5 Disc Edition. I have always loved been free and I hate restrictions. And moreso, it makes more sense to me because I can play the games on Blue-Ray CD (with other entertainments) and I can also play the games digitally if I want.
